We currently have 2 types of waiting lists for farm work. The ONSITE waiting list for guests currently staying at the hostel and the OFFSITE list for people not staying that wish to be phoned for work. The onsite list gets first priority for any work available then the people on the offsite list will be contacted when spaces can not be filled from the onsite list.
Work can never be gaurenteed when coming as it is ALL wheather dependent and can change at any time. We dont expect people to wait around for weeks with out work so we will try to update you as much as possible with what the farms are looking for.
We have several farms that we work with. The farms will contact us when they need workers with the details of the work and how many people they require. We then try our best to fill these spaces as quickly as possible. Somtimes this is very short notice.
We need motivated, hard workers to keep our farmers happy. We have a no party policy whilst working on the farms- we will not send out tired/hungover people to work. If you are kicked off the farm you are kicked out of the hostel and vice versa.
All workers must have passport, visa, taxfile number and bank account details ready to start work.
